Building History Gallery
The Lyric Art Center began with a dream and a benefactor.
Bill Bradley purchased a large building in downtown Eastland, Texas, in 2004-2005. The property once housed a movie theater, The Lyric, in the 1930s.
Bradley envisioned the building returning to a theater, but now as an arts center and community performance space.
In 2008, the Lyric Art Center became a 501(c)(3) and began renovations on the building.
